３０年代後半となり、一度に５０枚からのレコードを取り扱うことが出来る機械化したプレイヤー、ジュークボックスが全国津々浦々のカフェや酒場（ジューク）に設置された。1940年ジュークボックス産業は6500万ドルのうりあげを記録した。

この動きとラジオの黒人マーケットの開拓に伴いブルースはブームを迎えた。レコードの需要も増えたので歌手達がレコーディングをする機会も増えた。

戦前にブルースを聴く方法と言えば巨大レコード会社（デッカ、ヴィクター、ブルーバードなど）が発売したレコードやチェーンストアカタログで販売されていたレコードを聴くくらいしかなかったがジュークボックスが流行った後は全国に小さなレーベルが続々誕生した。

As this movement is becoming boom, blues experienced it's movement.

As the demand for the record getting bigger and bigger, Chance came and recording oppotunity for singers grew.

There is no way to listen and Chain Store Catalogue, but after the Joke Box experienced it's movement, small rebels were born.
